DAWN BOYDEN teaches GRADS, Family Health, Food and Fitness, Aerobics, Culinary Basics, Culinary Arts, Photography I, and Photography II at Lake Stevens High School and PROVE High School in the Lake Stevens School District.  Her CTE director stated, “Dawn is a bright, energetic, and very competent teacher who loves kids, enjoys teaching, and helps many teachers and administrators in her field.  She is well liked and does a fabulous job.”  Her nominator stated, “She is warm, caring, and sensitive; yet able to show “tough love” to her students.  She has the ability to make her students accountable and responsible for their actions.  The person behind the teacher makes Dawn the teacher that she is, the kind that all students and schools should have.  She makes a difference in students’ lives!”  Congratulations to Dawn Boyden…2011  Ed Erickson Washington ACTE Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year!
